THE busera road travel intermediation platform, launched a geolocation tool for users to follow the movement of their buses to the boarding point.
Next to the map showing the bus, the buser also added the boarding time prediction function, updating in real time as the vehicle’s path changes. In this way, if the bus gets into a traffic jam or goes through some unforeseen event, the passenger will see the change in the scheduled time for the start of the trip in his application.
Novelty promises to bring practicality to the passenger
According to Buser, more than 80% of the fleet of partner buses has a GPS and a telemetry system, equipment that allows you to view the location of buses in real time. The company’s goal is for the entire fleet to be traceable by the end of the year.
However, geolocation is only available until the boarding is finished, and it is not possible to follow the trip in real time. Still, Buser is the first company in the sector to launch a feature of this type, allowing passengers to organize themselves while waiting for boarding, whether leaving the place to grab a snack or leaving the house a little later – it just can’t be done. slow down slowly.
“Buser brought innovation and technology to an industry that had not been modernized for decades. We want more and more people to know the conveniences of traveling by bus using an application and, therefore, we are always making improvements to the product. Geolocation has the power to take even more practicality and autonomy for the passenger who travels with us”, says Bruno Pessoa, Product Director at Buser.
Other improvements
Other updates released by Buser on its platform are as follows:
- Cancel trips through the app, without having to call the call center
- Rebooking at the last minute, also through the app, with the possibility of redeeming up to 80% of the value of the trip
- Buying trips with connections
- Post-shipment and post-trip evaluation tool, allowing the user to evaluate the charter company and the platform communication.
