O Whatsapp offers several privacy options. But accessing the settings to guarantee more security to the messenger will be even easier: according to the WABetaInfo this Wednesday (5), those responsible for the messenger intend to bring the adjustments to the app’s home screen.
The change appeared in version 2.22.22.5 of WhatsApp Beta for Android. In the publication, the portal reported that the home screen of the app’s settings gained the “Privacy” option. Previously, the menu was available within the “Account” page.
In case you are not aware, the “Privacy” menu provides several important settings. In addition to the blocked contacts list, the page takes users to the settings to choose who will have access to the “Last seen”profile picture, message, groups, status and the read receipts. You can also adjust the duration of temporary messages and the use of biometrics to block access to the app by this menu.

WhatsApp change speeds up access to options
Therefore, your transfer becomes a very important change. After all, users will be able to access all these adjustments more quickly and easily. In addition, people who hardly access the messenger settings will be able to check the settings more often to ensure more security to the account.
WhatsApp, however, could take advantage of the momentum and take the definitions of the two-step confirmation to the home screen. To access the feature’s settings, you need to open the settings, tap on the “Account” option and only then enter the page to enable or disable authentication. By taking it to the main menu, users will have one more incentive to enable the function on their cell phones.
For now, the novelty has only shown the faces of WhatsApp Beta for Android. But the update is expected to be released to all users in the near future.
