O Whatsapp started releasing Premium, its paid plan, to companies. Only available in Business, the new modality appeared in the beta version of the messaging application with the option to connect the account on up to ten devices and other benefits. The information was revealed by WABetaInfo this Thursday (6th).
The update began rolling out in WhatsApp Business Beta. The website points out that some users of the Android and iPhone (iOS) application have already received the option to subscribe. In other words, if you don’t have access to Premium yet, you’ll have to wait a while until the new feature is released on your phone.
The subscription is performed by the application itself. To gain access to the feature, the messenger issues a notification to inform you of the benefits of the Premium package. But the site did not reveal the value of the subscription, which remains a mystery.
“Create a professional-looking link for new customers to chat with you on WhatsApp,” reads the notification. “Get it as part of a premium subscription that also lets you add up to 10 additional devices to your account.”
After all, is it worth subscribing to WhatsApp Premium?
For starters, the paid plan is exclusive to WhatsApp Business, unlike Telegram Premium. This means that if you use the conventional edition of the messenger, Premium will not be available on your mobile. For this, it will be necessary to migrate to the solution for companies of the Meta messaging application.
The modality was presented in may. At the time, the owner of the messenger pointed out that users will be able to connect the account on up to ten devices, instead of just four. Another advantage is the possibility to create personalized links, such as “wa.me/minha-empresa”, to facilitate the dissemination of the contact.
Meta also released its own API. The solution aims to help developers when creating customer service solutions. The company still intends to offer a free and public cloud to help companies save on the expense of servers to host their platforms.
