CLX, a company that builds custom PCs with a focus on gamers, announced a new product: the Hathor. This PC Gamer is literally two computers in one case. And it’s not about using a motherboard with two CPU slots and two GPUs.
The CLX Hathor has an Intel NUC 12 Extreme Compute Element inside its case, which already has a motherboard with Intel Z690 chipset and still fits an RTX 4090🇧🇷 It really is two PCs in one: perfect for streamers.
CLX Hathor “base” is so powerful it doesn’t even need the NUC
The idea of having a single case for two PCs sounds pretty economical — in the matter of area🇧🇷 After all, the two computers will occupy the same space on the table, all the cables go to the same place, in case of a change of house or the layout of the room you will only carry one cabinet and everything will go to a single socket. But just PC 1 of CLX Hathor is enough to play and stream.
for your base price of $3,999 (R$ 21,209.10), it comes with an Intel Core i7 12700KF, an RTX 3060 and two sticks of 8 GB of memory (DDR4-3,200 MHz) — including an Intel NUC 12 with i7-12700. With the GPU alone, 90% of PC Gamers would already be happy (my GTX 1650 is very efficient, but RDR2 suffers).

Of course, professional streamers need a good performance break to stream their gameplay with high quality. For this, a second PC is very useful. In CLX Hathor, the Intel NUC plays this role.
The buyer can also opt for a Intel NUC 12 Extreme Compute Element with a 12th gen i9🇧🇷 Like the PC 1, the name CXL gives to the gamer setup, the NUC has a Z690 motherboard. Video is delivered by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770.
Cooling ensures optimal performance at “maximum specification”
Two high-performance computers in a single case raises a concern about temperature. However, even in the base model the CLX Hathor already comes with its maximum of ten fans (you can go down to up to seven fans and reduce the final price) and a liquid cooler🇧🇷 Installing ten fans is possible if the customer opts for 360 mm liquid cooling.
With this configuration, the consumer should not worry about overheating when using the i9 13900K and RTX 4090, the “highest” possible specification of the CLX Hathor. The double PC Gamer also allows you to equip up to 128 GB of memory and a 1,600 W source — yes, that’s two PCs using the same source.
