Requirements
To track Galaxy over the internet, a Samsung account must be associated with the device and the option “Find my phone”within the Device Security settings, must be enabled.

- Go to Search Phone
In your browser, go to findmymobile.samsung.com and sign in with your Samsung account.
- Choose a device on the left side
In the left menu, select the smartphone, watch, tablet or headset you want to locate.
- Wait for the map to load
The system will display the current location of the cell phone shortly afterwards.
- Do device tracking
Click “Track location” and then “Start” to know where the cell phone is. Location history will be updated every 15 minutes.

- Create a password to lock the screen remotely and, if you prefer, include an emergency contact.
- press on “Block” to finish.
After the procedure, the lock screen will display the emergency contact information or a message, if you chose this option during the remote lock setup.
When you lock a Galaxy via Samsung Find My Mobile, the phone’s power off button is disabled.
The cards registered in the Samsung Pay will also be suspended on the platform.
Make a backup to store data in the cloud
To back up lost cell phone data, perform the following steps:
- Sign in to Samsung Find My Mobile (findmymobile.samsung.com/login🇧🇷
- Select the device to view it on the map.
- click in “Backup”🇧🇷
- Select the data you want to save.
- Press the button “Backup”🇧🇷
- press the option “Backup” again to confirm.
Now just wait for the process to complete.
It should be noted that if the phone is turned off or the internet connection is lost while data is being sent, the backup will be interrupted.
Retrieve messages and calls
Find My Phone also displays a log of up to 50 recent calls and messages sent or received by the cell phone. Learn how to retrieve them remotely:

- Select the device to view it on the map.
- press on “Recovery calls/messages”🇧🇷
- Validate access to your account if prompted.

You can extend battery life

Erase all data from your Galaxy
Think carefully!
The option to erase all data from a device is irreversible. That is, once triggered, the information stored on the device will be permanently removed.

According to Samsung, the data cannot be recovered after the procedure, as the cell phone will be reset to factory defaults.
“This will also reset your phone, and you will no longer be able to control it,” the company explained. Also, the process deletes Samsung Pay cards and memory card data.
