It’s not long before Christmas, and the Uber don’t want to let the date go blank. Commitment was not lacking: the company will provide sleigh rides for users in the city of Santa Claus, in Finland. And best of all: the modality Uber Treno it’s free.
The celebrations are already scheduled. In a press release sent this Tuesday (6), Uber reported that tourists and Finns will be able to take a reindeer ride at no cost through Uber Sled.
The modality will be available between December 12 and 18, 2022 to platform users. At first, there will be a sleigh ride that will depart from Appukka Recorte, in Rovaniemi.
With a duration of two hours, the trip will take passengers through the forests of Lapland, which are covered with snow.
Rovaniemi, it is worth mentioning, is known as the city of Santa Claus.
“With the simple touch of a button, the user can live a unique experience, like going through one of the most beautiful places in the world”, said Anabel Diaz, General Manager of Mobility at Uber in Europe.
Uber Trenó is booked through the app itself
In addition to people who love the Christmas spirit, the sleigh ride tends to delight children and teenagers who are in the region. That is, it is a good suggestion for anyone looking for a family program in the region.
And it’s easy to join the campaign. For this, just request a ride… I mean, a sleigh ride through the Uber app, just like you do in everyday life.
However, it is necessary to hurry: the platform informed that it will only be possible to make two reservations per day.
“Availability is limited, so it is recommended that families and couples regularly check out the app,” they explained.
I just hope they don’t cancel the sleigh ride countless times, like they usually do with cars🇧🇷
Brazilian drivers get into the holiday spirit
Unfortunately, Brazil is not cold enough to have an Uber Trenó. But Brazilian drivers are also leaving their cars very Christmassy.
