Technology has become important in classrooms. With the help of the internet, students and teachers can explore new angles to make the environment more interactive and dynamic. However, how to get the best out of these equipment? It is with this question that the Multi is teaching courses for professionals in the public network.
The initiative is the result of a partnership between the manufacturer and Instituto Paramitas. In a press release, the company explained that, more than providing the tools, it is necessary to guarantee the best experience with the technology. After all, according to the ICT Education 2020 survey, by CETIC.br, 77.9% of public schools in Brazil have internet access.
The public network has little diversity of equipment. The survey points out that nine out of ten schools have a desktop computer, while the proportion of notebooks is 79%. But there are few tablets in these environments: in Brazil, only 19% of municipal, state and federal schools have the equipment available.
It is in this scenario that Multi Educa emerged, which aims to contribute to access, knowledge and good practices when using computers, tablets and the like. Especially when considering that the company has already offered three million pieces of equipment to public schools across the country.

Multi Educa offers certificate to participants
The program works through partnerships with education departments. Through them, those responsible for the project form multipliers, informing about good practices in handling and conservation of the brand’s equipment. And this second point deserves attention, as it helps to preserve the environment and avoid expenses.
Professionals who participated in the project also receive certification. According to André Poroger, vice president of product development and marketing at Multi, participants “are able to disseminate all the knowledge acquired with people belonging to the school ecosystem”.
In addition, Multi offers the contents through a Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) for those who cannot take advantage of the program in person.
Access is exclusive to professionals appointed by the education secretariats who purchase branded products. On the other hand, participants both receive a certificate and have access to content on the proper handling and disposal of electronic equipment.
The initiative is already underway, with the first interaction with education professionals in Vitória (ES). But the company is already preparing to take the project to other municipalities, such as Angra dos Reis (RJ), Montes Claros (MG) and Rio Bonito (RJ).
“The expectation is that, by the end of this year, more than 200,000 educators will be impacted”, they announced.
