However, the request must be made directly through the digital bank’s website – and not through the app.

According to Luzia Chanes, leader of fintech operations here in Brazil, the customer base grew 150% in one year. “This is just the beginning of a transformative journey of services for this audience,” she said.
Therefore, if you are a PJ, you do not have a PF account at Nubank, but you want to open an account, just access the bank’s website. There, you need to enter your CNPJ and select the option “Request PJ account”. Then, other data will be requested, such as your name, your CPF, and e-mail. Nothing changes for those who are already an individual customer: the request for a PJ account will continue to be made through the Nubank application.

According to a new ranking by the UBS Group, Nubank is now the fifth largest Brazilian bank in number of customers, even ahead of Santander. The survey data were released by the Central Bank.
In the list, the digital bank appeared with 64.8 million customers in Brazil alone. It loses, for example, to Banco do Brasil, which is in fourth place, with 73.6 million account holders. Santander appears in sixth place, with 61 million.
The top 3 banks with the most customers are formed by the following companies, respectively: Caixa Econômica Federal, with 148.3 million customers; Bradesco, with 101.8 million and; Itaú, with 95.5 million account holders.
Among digital banks, Nubank is the leader in a burst. Taking into account the second place, Banco Original, there is a significant difference of 22.6 million customers — it has 42.2 million account holders. In third place is Mercado Pago with 39.4 million.
