THE Xiaomi revealed the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ this Thursday (27). The cell phone draws attention for the Explorer edition, which has a 4,300 mAh battery with 210 watt recharge (!) and a 200 megapixel camera. The Chinese brand also presented other variants of the new generation, including the Redmi Note 12 with 120 Hz display.
The Pro Plus variant is the highlight of the day. In addition to being the most advanced option, the line also has the Explorer Edition, which offers 210 watt fast recharge. According to the manufacturer, this power can complete a 4,300 mAh battery in just 9 minutes.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ also stands out in this area. With a 5,000 mAh battery, the smartphone supports chargers of up to 120 watts, which completes the component in 19 minutes. That is, while one brings a larger cell, the other offers faster recharge.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a 200-megapixel camera
Otherwise, the two phones are similar. Let’s start with the triple photographic set, led by the 200 megapixel camera, as well as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra it’s the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The duo still has an 8 MP (ultrawide) and 2 MP (macro) sensor.
Redmi Note 12 Pro has a similar grouping. But the main camera is 50 megapixels.
The technical sheet still brings other care. This is the case of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor and up to 12 GB of RAM, depending on the model chosen. Consumers can also opt for 128GB or 256GB storage.
The smartphone still has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Redmi Note 12 has dual camera and MIUI 13
If you want a simpler cell phone, no problem. Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Note 12, this time with an intermediate datasheet led by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and the same 6.67-inch screen. The cell phone still has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 watt recharge, a much lower power than the Pro variants, by the way.
The dual camera is present on the back. The 48 megapixel sensor is accompanied by a 2 megapixel sensor, the latter being dedicated to capturing depth of field. The front camera has 8 megapixels while the others have a 16 megapixel component.
price and availability
Initially, Xiaomi will only sell the phones in China. Let’s start with the Redmi 12 Pro+, which will hit stores at the following prices:
- 8GB + 256GB: 2,199 yuan (about R$1,610 in direct conversion);
- 12GB + 256GB: 2,399 yuan (BRL 1,755);
- Explorer Edition (8GB + 256GB): 2,399 yuan (BRL 1,755);
- Yibo Edition (8GB + 256GB): 2,599 inane (R$ 1,900).
The other models are less expensive. Redmi Note 12 Pro is on sale with prices starting at 1,699 yuan:
- 6GB + 12 8GB: 1,699 yuan (BRL 1,240);
- 8GB + 128GB: 1,799 yuan (BRL 1,315);
- 8GB + 256GB: 1,999 yuan (BRL 1,465);
- 12GB + 256GB: 2,199 yuan (BRL 1,610).
Finally, there is the Redmi Note 12 line, the most affordable among all the others:
- 4GB + 128GB: 1,199 yuan (BRL 870);
- 6GB + 128GB: 1,299 yuan (R$950);
- 8GB + 128GB: 1,499 yuan (BRL 1,100);
- 8GB + 256GB: 1,699 yuan (BRL 1,240).
There is no release forecast for the Redmi Note 12 family in Brazil.
