There is a new cell phone in the Brazilian market. This Thursday (8), the asus made the official announcement of ROG Phone 6D Ultimate for Brazil. Aimed at gamers, the device features a 6.78-inch screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The 16 GB of RAM are of the LPDDR5x type, technology that, according to Asus, is 15% faster than the LPDDR5 standard. The internal storage is of the type UFS 3.1a standard that allows transfer rates of up to 23.2 Gb/s (gigabits per second).
The combination of these technologies with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip allowed the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate to reach 1,133,998 points on Antutu. This score made the smartphone lead the app ranking in September 2022.
But the benchmarks only serve to reinforce the device’s focus on games. To that end, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate also features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen. The component brings 165 Hz refresh rate and 720 Hz touch response rate. The resolution is 2448×1080 pixels.
Cameras, rear viewfinder and more
Looking at the back of the phone, we see a set of three cameras. The main one consists of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. There is also a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
There is also the ROG Vision, a 2-inch OLED display that can display animations, charging status, among other information.
To complete, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate brings the AeroActive Portal, a small inlet that directs the air from the AeroActive Cooler 6 (accessory that cools) to the interior of the device.
Other interesting features include two USB-C ports, headphone jack, dual speakers and 6,000 mAh battery.
A 65W fast charger is included in the product box. The accessory allows recharge from 0 to 100% in 42 minutes, says Asus.
How much?
The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate can now be purchased from Asus’ online store in Brazil. Over there, the model has an official price of R$ 11,999. But, at least this Thursday, the value was R$ 9,899.10 for payment in cash or R$ 10,999 for installments in 12 installments.
It was a matter of time for the cell phone to be launched in Brazil. In November, Asus brought the ROG Phone 6🇧🇷 The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate had been pending. Not anymore.
Here in the Technoblogour detective Everton Favretto found an Anatel homologation certificate for the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate issued on December 6th. Based on this, we can assume that Asus made an effort to launch the device here in 2022.
