THE Xiaomi revealed a cell phone that is similar to the iPhone 14 Pro: the Xiaomi Civi 2. Like Apple’s smartphone, the launch has a pill-shaped cutout to house the dual front camera. The product of the Chinese brand still adds fast charging of 67 watts and comes out of the box with Android 12 under MIUI 13.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 follows the line inaugurated by the Chinese last year. Keeping the focus of previous generation, the phone takes special care to look and has a thin body (7.23 mm). But what draws attention is the screen, as it reminds of the iPhone 14 Pro cutoutApple’s cell phone that left the notch aside.
This is because the display has a hole positioned in the center with two 32 megapixel cameras. The set, which includes an ultra-wide lens sensor, also follows Apple’s pill-shaped phone. Xiaomi, however, did not provide any response to Dynamic Island – but there is already an alternative.
In addition to the dual camera, the release offers some features to improve selfies. This is the case of a flash positioned at the front, at the height of the edges, to adjust the color temperature when taking pictures. That is, if you like to make self-portraits, the Civi 2 can be a great alternative for your day to day.
Xiaomi Civi 2 has 120 Hz screen and triple camera
Still on the front, the cell phone of the Chinese brand has a 6.55-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. Good news for gamers: the launch brings 120 Hz refresh rates and 240 Hz touch sampling. In addition, the AMOLED panel has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and brightness of up to 1,000 nits.
On the back, the triple photographic set deserves attention. Next to the 50-megapixel main camera, with the Sony IMX766 sensor, there is another 20-megapixel component with an ultrawide lens. There remains the 2 megapixel camera for macro.
The intermediate datasheet is led by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. At the time of purchase, consumers can find models with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. In addition, the phone has a 4,500 mAh battery with 67 watt recharge and Android 12 under the MIUI 13 interface from the factory.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 is now on sale in China. Check the suggested prices for the Asian country market:
- 8GB + 128GB: 2,399 yuan (about R$1,780 in direct conversion);
- 8GB + 256GB: 2,499 yuan (BRL 1,855);
- 12GB + 256GB: 2,799 yuan (BRL 2,075).
There is no forecast for the launch of the cell phone in Brazil and in other countries. But Xiaomi may re-release it globally under another name.
