After its release caused a lot of confusion, the new version of Twitter Blue already has a date to return to Twitter. According to Elon Musk, the service will be provisionally relaunched next Friday (2) and will have verification stamps of different colors to identify each type of account.
The information was given by the CEO in a tweet in which another user replied of the social network. According to Musk, checks will now have stamps in different colors, with the gold for companies, gray for government profiles and blue for individuals🇧🇷 Additionally, all accounts will be manually verified before being checked.
The announcement raised debates on the social network and Musk was asked if any individual, whether an official profile or a Twitter Blue subscriber, would receive the same blue verification seal, without any type of identification.
According to the head of the platform, the color of the seal will in fact be the same – since Musk believes that the “limit of what constitutes ‘notable’ is very subjective” –, but that individuals who are part of an organization may have a small secondary logo on their accounts, if confirmed as such by that institution.
The billionaire promised that more complete explanations about this color scheme and the second authentication logo will be given over the next week.
The arrival of Twitter Blue caused confusion

The Twitter Blue subscription service has become Musk’s top priority since he bought Twitter for $44 billion.
Released at the beginning of the month for the amount of US$ 7.99, its new version offered the verified seal to its subscribers. A “loophole” that made some accounts that acquired it manage to impersonate profiles of large companies and personalities, bringing chaos to the platform.
The confusion led to a second “official” stamp being released shortly afterwards. One news that did not last even 48 hoursas Musk decided to “kill” the badge shortly thereafter, even though it continued to appear on some social network accounts.
Since then, the re-launch of Twitter Blue has been paused by the company, which at the moment is also facing a series of mass layoffs and employee flight🇧🇷
Initially, the service would return on Tuesday itself (29), but Musk had already warned that this relaunch was on pause until there was high confidence that they would be able to prevent fake accounts from impersonating others.
