At Nubank boxes are a very practical alternative for those who want to save money. But there is always room for improvement: this Monday (17), fintech announced an option to program the deposit with recurrence in the “savings” of the Nubank. So the money will be automatically reserved every month.
The novelty is known as Programming Boxes. The function allows customers to choose a value to be kept in the boxes on a recurring basis. Afterwards, the amount is deposited from the Nubank account for the monthly reservation without depending on interactions, helping to reach the desired goal with less worry.
The transfer takes place automatically. In addition, users can select the best day to make the deposit. The tool even issues a notice in advance to know when the money will be saved in the box so that the user can pause or cancel the programming whenever they want.
Another perk of the update revolves around the simulator. The new feature allows users to make a calculation to establish the monthly amount that must be deposited to reach the target in the allotted time. This tool is accessible to all customers, even if they do not opt for the recurring deposit.
How to program the deposit in Nubank’s boxes?
The tool is being rolled out gradually to users throughout October. But, if you already have access to the novelty, then the first step is create a box in your Nubank accounta resource that was announced by the financial institution in September. Then, just follow the procedure below:
- Access the new box;
- Tap on “Program Box”;
- Click on the option “Total goal value”;
- After selecting the value, press the “Set” button;
- Tap on “Simulate”;
- Run the simulation and tap “Save”;
- Choose the best date to make the transfer;
- Complete the operation.
Ready, now the amount will be deposited automatically on the chosen day!
Programar Caixinhas has not yet reached the entire customer base of the financial institution. But it won’t take long: according to Nubank, the novelty is being gradually released to all customers throughout the month of October 2022.
It is possible to cancel the recurring payment from the Nubank box before reaching the goal. The financial institution informed, in a press release, that customers can “pause or cancel immediately and whenever they wish”.
The financial institution will alert you before the transfer takes place. So, if you do not want to make the recurring payment at a specific time, you can suspend it before the deposit is made.
The simulator is available to any user, even those who do not want to schedule a recurring payment. The financial institution informed that the tool can be used “regardless of opting for automatic recurrence of deposits”.
Not for now. In a press release, Nubank reported that “at this moment, the yield from the investment options available for the configuration of the Caixinhas” is not considered in the simulation. But this does not prevent this option from being included in the future.
